Almost PLN 279 million for Podkarpacie as part of the "East Shield"

During the meeting, the possibilities and principles for obtaining funding allocated to the Podkarpackie Voivodeship under the new law were discussed in detail. The main agenda item was a presentation on the procedures for completing and submitting funding applications, as well as providing local governments with template forms and regulations based on which applications would be assessed.

Podkarpacie received exactly PLN 278 million 777 thousand 30.

"We were waiting for the final stage, the decision on allocating funds to individual voivodeships. This decision has already been made by the Minister of Interior and Administration, after consultation with the Minister of National Defense. Three basic criteria were taken into account when making the allocation. The first is the voivodeship's population, the second – the urbanization rate, and the third – its location. Border voivodeships covered by the Eastern Shield program were allocated additional funds. That's why this amount for our region is so high."
